Common questions
Can I see Florida patients via telehealth before my Florida license is issued? No. Even with an active LCSW license in another state, you cannot deliver therapy to patients located in Florida without Florida licensure (or pending Compact privilege when that infrastructure activates).
Does Florida accept the ASWB Master's exam instead of the Clinical exam? No. Florida requires the Clinical-level ASWB exam for LCSW licensure. Master's-level exam (RCSWI = Registered Clinical Social Work Intern) only qualifies for the registered intern pathway, not the LCSW.
