What we see at Ava Health
Denver metro has strong hospitalist and specialist demand. The mountain resort market (Vail, Aspen, Telluride, Steamboat) generates premium locum demand — particularly for EM and orthopedics — with some of the best compensation per hour in the country for seasonal assignments. Eastern Plains primary care (Pueblo, Trinidad, La Junta, Lamar) offers geographic premiums. UCHealth/CU's academic expansion is generating ongoing subspecialty hiring.
