Utah PA License 2026: Physician Assistant Requirements, FPA Authority, and Salary
Utah physician assistants have practiced under Full Practice Authority since 2020, removing mandatory supervision agreement filing requirements. Licensing runs through the Utah Division of Occupational and Professional Licensing (DOPL). Salt Lake City and the Wasatch Front are anchored by Intermountain Health and the University of Utah Health system, two of the most operationally advanced health systems in the western US.
